Love keeps no record of wrongs.....
I've read this passage many times, yet today this portion hit me like a ton of bricks.
Love keeps no record of wrongs.
Man do i have a record of wrongs! Of offenses and hurt feelings. Of unmet expectations, and longings of admittions of guilt and to receive petitions of forgiveness. My God! I release ever person who has wronged me. I let go of every expectation of retribution, and need for apology. I forgive them. I do not hold them accountable for their offense towards me. Lord have mercy on them as you have for me. I am not worthy of your love, acceptance or forgiveness and yet time after time i have received them with out measure.
Thank you for showing me my heart's condition and washing me clean by the precious blood of the Lamb. In Jesus name I pray, Amen
