Bayard Lewis, Justice Bartlett, and their guest, Christiana Herbert (a consciousness teacher, former model, recovered Evangelical Christian, and radiant human being!) dive into a conversation that explores how cult mentality can seep into not only fringe religions, but mainstream ones, as well as other societal, and cultural institutions. It's a bit insidious, actually.

We offer up some history of what many people consider the founding principles of Christianity, some speculations about what Christianity actually entails (a connection to our humanity and the natural world). We discuss the role of women in religion and spirituality, and how their roles were removed and their presence and prominence stifled.

And we probe the tender topic of abortion rights, practices, and regulations.
