Invest 93L is making its way across northern Florida this evening and spawning tropical thunderstorms as far west as Pensacola Beach, Florida.

We now have Invest 93L in the Atlantic off the coast of Florida. This is forecasted to continue its track west across Florida and into the northern Gulf where the environment is favorable for further development. Disorganized thunderstorms with flooding rainfall will continue for the next 2 days across Florida as this system progresses.

A lot of uncertainty remains but the further south this tracks (longer it can sit in the Gulf) the more likely we are to see Tropical Storm Dexter. This remains a very low probability but not out of the question. Stay weather aware with the MyRadar Weather Radar App.

I am prepared to make my trip to the Gulf to provide LIVE coverage for MyRadar if things continue to uptrend.
