Burton Cummings is that rare artist who transcends time, genres, and generations with a body of work that continues to resonate through decades with fans both old and new.

Still at the top of his game as performer, singer, songwriter, and recording artist, Burton will be bringing his talents to Saginaw’s Temple Theatre on August 9th as part his current A Few Good Moments Tour.

Musician Brent Nuffer began his career back in the early 2000s performing in the award-winning band Studiotone, which rocked out regularly at the Hamilton St. Pub and throughout downstate venues in the Lansing & Detroit region.

Back in 2007 he moved to Los Angeles to embark upon a new musical journey and in 2021 launched his most adventurous venture to date: The ELECTRIC MOON FOUNDATION, which is a 501(c)3 organization based in Los Angeles that works to bring Music & the Arts to vulnerable youth living at a transitional home in Los Angeles., creating a space for underserved youth to find a healing space through art & music.

On July 10th they are having a special benefit called The Electric Moon R***e - Oasis Vs Beatles Night that gathers up some of the finest Los Angeles Songwriters to interpret their favorite Oasis & Beatles songs. This benefit is designed to raise funds for summer music & art camps for children staying at ‘Alexandria House’.

If you can't attend you can still help support Music & the Arts by clicking this link and donating to this admirable event. Joining Team Oasis or Team Beatles as a fun way to fundraise and you can also assist by simply sharing the link and spreading the word.

Recently The REVIEW's sports reporter Jack Tany visited Boston’s famed Fenway Park to witness Major League Baseball’s top rivalry – a Red Sox vs. (New York) Yankees game on a sunny 75-degree day.

Though generations have come and gone, Fenway Park remains, much like it did the day it opened on April 20, 1912. It predates Chicago’s Wrigley Field by two years. The area around Wrigley Field is dubbed Wrigleyville and features a multitude of bars and restaurants and souvenir shops.

Learn more about this famed treasure in Jack's latest dispatch!

I have been involved in sports in one way or another for six decades. Since I am rounding the bend and heading for home, I wanted to knock one of my bucket list before departing God’s great earth. Being a baseball aficionado, I wanted to visit Boston’s famed Fenway Park and, just as important, w...

When the affable robot R2-D2 was first introduced to the world by George Lucas in his 1977 film 'Star Wars' little did we know that 48 years down the pipeline he would be absorbed into the banking industry.

However unthinkable the notion may be, the Bank of New York Mellon announced that it has deployed dozens of artificial intelligence-powered “digital employees” that operate with human employees, and even have their own company login credentials.

Learn more with this special dispatch.

It was a treat to catch the inimitable Amy Petty perform to a very sizable crowd at the Saginaw Art Museum yesterday evening as part of their 'Museum Tunes' series.

Backed by an A-list wrecking crew of our region's finest that included guitarist Mike Robertson, drummer Donny Brown, and bassist Joe Balbaugh, it was the perfect setting to showcase her thoughtful arrangements of covers such as Joni Mitchell's 'Woodstock', along with several of her haunting and beautifully structured originals.

Here's a taste of what went down in case you missed it!
