As Smoky Mountain Wrestling was about to fold, many of Jim Cornette's top stars were given opportunities with the WWF. One of those men was Al Snow. In Hayabusa like attire, Snow debuted on the 10/23/95 Raw, entering the ring WITHOUT a mask, going through a "ritual" before placing it over his head to become AVATAR, the great fighting warrior. Though he had a few slips (literally), I was on board for Snow to get a shot with the WWF after his awesome heel work in SMW.
