Jay Wheeler shined with “Girasoles” Homecoming in Puerto Rico over the weekend.

Jay Wheeler ignited the Choliseo stage, earning his eighth SOLD-OUT show at the venue. The “Girasoles” show highlighted his maturity as an artist, bringing his 3-hr show to life with a stage design offering an immersive experience, featuring 130-ft. semicircle screen, 53-ft. sunflower centerpiece and a rotating stage which on several occasions hosted a 20-piece symphonic ensemble composed of students from the Escuela Libre de Música and the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music.

Among the weekend’s highlights, the Choliseo crowd sang at the top of their lungs for 3 hours, especially during surprise guest slots, which featured Puerto Rican idols Tommy Torres and Arcangel; Noreh, Ela Taubert and Zhamira Zambrano reminded us what like feels in numbers; and, Brytiago, Chris Lebron, ROBI, and KENNYY showcased a string of rising new generation artists to watch.
