If your summer-loving self craves the flawless combination of delectable cuisine and picture-perfect ambiance, pull into — boats, cars, and everything in between is welcome.

We chat with Ryan Sathre, General Manager of Lola’s Lakehouse, who emphasizes that what sets this dockside retreat apart goes far beyond the stunning view. “Our goal is to provide a total experience that melds unbelievable food and drinks with excellent service, and of course, sitting lakeside with the sun on your shoulders doesn’t hurt.”

Ryan’s gives the dish on his favorite dishes: Pan Seared Sea Scallops and the Tagliatelle Frutti di Mare (gulf shrimp, scallops, mussels, fresh fish, local tomato, and prosecco, yes, please). “You just can’t beat fresh seafood lakeside!” Most locals have their favorites, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find something from this seafood-inspired menu with traditional American fare that you don’t fall in love with.

🏄🌊It was an amazing competition this past weekend at The Lake Minnetonka Wakesurf Open in partnership with the in Mound! It was a full day of action as surfers competed on the waves of Surfside Park, showcasing their best moves and epic tricks. Congrats to all the winners!

With over two decades of experience, Fineline Lakeshore Services co-owner Jesse Johnson is on a mission to help people enjoy their time on the water by simplifying dock installation/removal and shoreline maintenance.

“Dock installation can be labor-intensive and time-consuming, as the lake bottom and water depth vary greatly throughout Lake Minnetonka,” Jesse says. “Fineline knows the lake and many different shoreline variations better than any other dock company.”

🚗💥 Ready to add some POW! to your summer plans? A group of car enthusiasts found a unique way to give back to the community and support everyday local heroes. We chatted with Mike Karch, co-founder of the — where classic crime-fighting cars like the Batmobile and Scooby-Doo’s Mystery Machine roll in to support our local heroes, raising funds for police, fire, and first responders! 👮‍♂️🚒

You’ll find the Cars Against Crime Foundation at events around town like at the Twin Cities Auto Show and at the Cars & Caves event at the Chanhassen Auto Plex where you can see these cool cars for free every last Saturday through September. We love the lake life.🌊🛥️ But we’re not the only one who wants to be near the water. Your lakefront is under constant invasion by an untiring menace: botanical interlopers, which would reduce any private beach to virgin wilderness in a matter of months.

We’re referring, of course, to lake w**ds, which look gross, and which are no good for boat docks, and which are about as fun to swim through as it is to be sneezed on by sick pigs. If you own lakefront property in the Twin Cities, Clear Shores will keep it a paradise. They are your personal underwater w**ders equipped with wet suits and scuba tanks.🤿

“There’s no better way to deal with lake w**ds than by confronting them face to face,” said Clear Shores co-founder Zack Navratil. “This may come as no surprise, but I am an environmentalist. I hate the idea of pouring herbicide, which kills plants and who knows what else indiscriminately, into the same water my 2-year-old son swims in. And all those dead w**ds it leaves behind? It’s only a matter of time until they decay into muck. There’s no better solution to lake w**d removal than Clear Shores’ divers. We’ll make sure no w**ds are left behind to decay into sludge, attract zebra muscles to your dock, or get sucked into your boat motor.”
