🌺 When Dana Klaus invites you to wear your Hawaiian muumuu and come experience a Hawaiian Luau at Castle Noel, you don’t say no. Last year, I had the opportunity to enjoy this unique experience alongside Cousin Eddie’s Trailer.

I was treated to an authentic Hawaiian Luau on the patio with Hawaiian music, dancing, audience participation, and an island luau buffet. And true to a Hawaiian Luau, there was even a spectacular fire twirling performance. It truly was a night of fun and good times.

This year Mark and Dana Klaus are once again lighting the tiki torches on Castle Noel’s patio. A Night of Tiki: Dinner and Theater will be happening August 2nd & 9th. (Doors open at 6:45 pm) It’s a perfect way to enjoy a night out with family or friends. Seats are limited. Wheelchair accessible.

Hey fellow travelers!

🛎 This Bed and Breakfast offers a comfy bed, a delicious breakfast and more. The perfect place to stay when visiting Oxford Ohio.

During my visit I had an opportunity to stay at one of the area’s Bed & Breakfast. When given a choice, I will always choose a bed & breakfast if the option affords itself. Not only are you treated to delicious breakfast, but you also get to spend time with the innkeepers who offer a wealth of information about the area that you are visiting and always have great suggestions for things to see and do.

If you want to make your stay in Oxford extra special, may I suggest a stay at the White Garden Inn Bed and Breakfast? Tucked away in the countryside and just a few minutes’ drive from downtown and Hueston Woods State Park, this family-owned B&B offers perfect small-town hospitality.

🥞 One of the highlights of staying at this B&B are the breakfasts. Each morning during my stay I was treated to a different breakfast menu. The first morning I was served a classic breakfast with seasonal parfait and warm muffins out of the oven. The next morning, I was treated to fluffy pancakes topped with fruit. You do not leave the table hungry and the coffee is always hot and fresh.

I stayed in the Butterfly Room, which was spacious and included a king size bed and ensuite bathroom, plus all the guest amenities you would expect, including guest bath robes. Located to the right of my room was a 2nd floor gathering area where you could play cards or enjoy conversation.

🌸 If you want to relax outside of your room, the Inn offers both indoor and outdoor seating areas. With views of the scenic gardens and nearby woods, the large wraparound porch with its wicker chairs and overhead fans makes for a perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee, a good book or a glass of wine.

Unfortunately, during my stay the weather did not cooperate and I was unable to really explore all the beautiful garden areas, including the special labyrinth. I was, however, treated to a beautiful after the storm porch sunset.

This Inn is truly a treat and a great place to find relaxation.
Perfect place to stay for a girls, guys or family getaway.
The 9,000 sq. ft. home is perfect if you want to escape with friends or family. The inn offers individual and family-size rooms with plenty of areas to congregate and enjoy time with each other.
