I come here with a heavy heart tonight for my meme to give news to our friends and family and the music community that love Dustin Fuselier, or as many of you know D:Fuse. We have received news that he is no longer with us. He fought an extremely hard battle with his mental health and we are praying he is at peace even though this is a dark time for our family.
Dustin was an amazing Dj, if you ever have a chance to check out his music please let it fill your heart and know he put his heart and soul into his albums. He was well traveled, he loved taking his dog Wally on long walks to the park, he was an avid camper and loved being outdoors. He was extremely loved, and is going to be deeply missed. We will share service information as we get it set up.

My grandma worked in an extremely loud factory and had significant hearing loss. She could never hear us and would always say, “What? Huh?” Daily.
It affected my ability to connect with her because I’d choose to not speak up since I dreaded having to constantly repeat myself. Worse yet, she would pretend she knew what I said even thought I could tell she didn’t hear me. It broke my heart into pieces.
These experiences with her were so impactful for me at a young age. I knew whenever I was going to be in a loud environment like a music festival, I must wear my ear plugs. No excuses.

The year was 2002, and our founder Denice Dal Braccio was sitting in her room in New Jersey looking for an outlet to release the pain she felt after losing her mom to non-smokers lung cancer. She tried watching tv, but that didn’t help. She tried going shopping, but that didn’t work either. Frustrated, she went home just as broken and depressed as before.
Laying in bed Denice put on her headphones and started listening to her favorite CD singing the lyrics, connecting to the words, melodies, and sounds which seemed to now have a different and deeper effect on her. She really felt and connected with the music and it helped ease the pain she was suffering. From that day on she knew she had found the transformational piece in her life. Music could save, change, and transform lives and she wanted to help others who were going through tough times in their lives. She searched for the easiest way to spread the message of music. By 2013 she knew anything was possible so she decided to quit her day job and start a worldwide magazine …and EDM World Magazine was born!
The original idea was to create the best source for everything in the world of electronic dance music where people could easily turn towards to escape their daily pains and put their mind at ease with music. Over the years, the brand and aspirations have grown. Since our launch in 2013, we’ve become the number one digital magazine app in the world of the electronic dance music industry which provides the best platform for community members to connect, grow, and strengthen our cultural movement. We seek to spread the core values of our community known as PLUR: Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect.
