“There are only four kinds of people in the world: those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will be caregivers and those who will need caregivers.” – Roselyn Carter 💬
Caregiving touches nearly every life, but it often goes unspoken and unsupported. That’s why WETA and PBS, in partnership with Well Beings, are premiering a powerful new documentary: "Caregiving." 🎥
Produced by Bradley Cooper’s Lea Pictures with Ark Media, this two-hour film tells the real stories of caregivers across the U.S. - their sacrifices, their resilience, and the systems that too often fail to support them. It’s a personal and national reckoning with a care crisis that’s growing by the day.
On May 19, Stroll Cleveland Park , Stroll Spring Valley , and Iona Senior Services .senior hosted a special advance screening at Katzen Arts Center. 🎬 The screening was followed by an expert panel discussion focused on aging and caregiving challenges in DC, featuring powerful community insights and an inspiring Q&A session. 💬
Iona also shared programs that offer critical local support:
📍 Adult Day Health Center in Tenleytown

📞 Helpline: 202-895-9448 | [email protected]
🧭 Aging and Caregiving Support Program – personalized, concierge-style support for aging in place, dementia care, family coaching, and end-of-life transitions.
This event was more than a screening. It was the start of a much-needed conversation on equity, care, and connection. 🧡
📺 “Caregiving” premieres nationally on PBS this June.
