Hinchas Press In Latin America, HINCHAS are homicidal fútbol fanatics--purveyors of fervor--but also a scourge.

Additionally, the verb "hinchar" in Spanish has various meanings: from distend and enlarge to annoy and exaggerate. HINCHAS Press is a small press specializing in works or poetry and social justice. Hinchas de Poesia is an online literary journal that showcases the fiction, poetry, and prose of authors from América and America. Therefore, Hinchas seek to big-up Américans, and the works they are cu

rrently creating. In terms of taste and content, Hinchas de Poesia believes the content to be the medium. To that end, we publish innovative, experimental work of a devastating caliber, regardless of format or dialect. Please send us work that you are unsure about, using language that belies the contours of a nameless gloss.

HINCHAS Press is a small press that publishes zines, poetry (and poetry in translation), and library science non-fiction. We support social justice initiatives, and advocate for bilingual literacy endeavors across the monolingual landscape of the United States. Like our online journal, Hinchas de Poesia (www.hinchasdepoesia.com), HINCHAS Press seeks to showcases the fiction, poetry, and prose of authors from América and America. In terms of taste and content, we firmly believe the content to be the medium. To that end, we seek to publish innovative, experimental work of a devastating caliber, regardless of format, dialect, or pedigree.

HINCHAS Press is home of the “Librarians with Spines” series, and is currently working on volume 02, which is slated for realese in 2019!
