The Ukrainian Brewery that stood its groundIt had just opened on the famous Rynok square in Lviv the year before. It was not just the location that drew my attention to Pravda Brewery in 2015… for the most part, it was its marketing. Pravda didn’t pull any punches with its political convictions....

Immense shift. From rooftops, tumble tiles.
Those criminals. From the Pulpit’s lip,
tumble rocks. Free fall. Mile of
air. Slow insect-swirl of gulls. Rock-bomb,
into the rippled fjord as far
down as sky’s up. Two blues,
and June-snow. Steady hum and rush
of no-sound. From the lip of
Prekestolen, tumble rocks. Those criminals and
cowards. Just submitting, again, to gravity’s
demand. But, to turn verticality on
its head or — really — on its
side. Stones themselves as they are,
the stones! They will join in
the merry dance, and seek to
move still faster, the stones!
