“Warriors” represents resilience — the barriers Deaf, BIPOC, and underrepresented creators continue to break through in the entertainment industry.

“Gate” represents opportunity — opening doors to Hollywood, storytelling, and the future of inclusive media.

And “Entertainment” is our mission:�Creating powerful stories through Deaf perspective.

We are a Deaf-led Hollywood media company committed to authentic storytelling, representation, and cinematic impact.

Before WarriorsGate Entertainment… this was .

A high school student at Alabama School for the Deaf with no big resources, just curiosity and the drive to create something of his own.

That’s when he produced his first short film: Bob Movie.

No roadmap. No experience. Just learning by doing.

He entered a film competition and placed 3rd.

Not the top… but it meant something.

Because that moment made it real.

It showed that this path wasn’t just an idea, it was possible.

Today, that same mindset is still driving the vision behind WarriorsGate Entertainment.

Still building. Still growing. Still pushing forward.

One year ago today, ERASED came to life.

What began as a vision became a collaboration built on commitment, purpose, and storytelling. We made the decision to come together, work as one team, and bring this story to screen.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity provided through Easterseals Disability Film Challenge, which gave ERASED a powerful platform to be seen and recognized. In 2025, ERASED received a Jury Prize nomination for Best Awareness presented by Amazon MGM Studios, an honor that affirmed the impact of this story.

The journey continued as ERASED was officially selected by Seattle Deaf Film Festival, Together! Disability Film Festival, and Little Venice Film Festival. It was also screened at Heartland International Film Festival through the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge.

Today, we look back at the behind-the-scenes moments, the energy on set, and everything that began one year ago.

And now… the story may not be finished.

The JESUS — a Deaf Missions film — WarriorsGate Entertainment team recently visited Deaf Missions for a behind-the-scenes tour of their Deaf-led translation and media work. The visit provided an opportunity to learn more about Deaf Missions’ mission to make content accessible in sign languages worldwide.
