🍑✨ BREAKING NEWS: June Is National Mango Month! ✨🍑

Okay, okay. It might technically be about the fruit. But Mango the Cat would like everyone to know that he is choosing to interpret it differently.

According to Mango, June is the perfect time to:
💛 Celebrate handsome adult cats, and thinks he is the most handsomest!
💛 Admire his dramatic biscuit‑making performances
💛 Appreciate his love for kids and his loyal, people‑focused heart
💛 And most importantly… find him the forever home he deserves

At 7½ years old, Mango is the full package... affectionate, social, silly, and absolutely convinced that the world is his stage. He prefers to be the only pet (a star needs his space), but he adores humans of all ages and will happily soak up every bit of attention you offer.

So while the rest of the world is slicing fruit into smoothies, we’re celebrating the one and only Mango who purrs, poses, and steals hearts.

Adopt Harley!

I would like to say this is the first time I met Harley, but sadly I can not. I photographed Harley, then known as Little Miss Morgan a little over 3 years ago, when she was just a tiny little thing.

Morgan aka Harley was adopted when she was only 6 months old, only to find herself back with the rescue after being returned 3 years later.

We all know sometimes life does not always give you the story you deserve, but the universe always has second chances to give-and we believe Harley's 2nd chance is going to offer her a forever home with all the love and attention she deserves.

Harley is a smart, treat-motivated girl who enjoys learning and is always eager to please. She is potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside by barking and heading to the door. She has experience sleeping both in a kennel and outside of one at night and settles in well at home.

This sweet girl loves walks, car rides, toys, and spending time with her people. She also enjoys playing with other dogs and would likely do best with a medium to large playful canine companion. Harley has a playful, mouthy play style and is continuing to work on her manners, so a home without children under 13 years of age would be best.

Harley can be sensitive to noises at times, and shy when she first meets someone new, but she has gained confidence and improved significantly while in foster care. She has never shown aggression and continues to make great progress as she learns that the world is a safe place.

Harley is a 3 1/2 year old Pit Bull Terrier/Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is ready to find her forever family.
Harley is currently living with a foster in Denton, TX.

Update: Oscar is starting his trial adoption this week! Without a doubt they are going to fall in madly in love with him on the very first day!

Adopt Oscar!

This handsome orange and white gentleman has a heart as big as his personality.

Oscar has been through a difficult journey after arriving at a local shelter with a broken jaw and severe weight loss due to past trauma. After two surgeries and lots of love, he has made an incredible recovery and is now ready to find his forever family.

Oscar is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and gets along wonderfully with kids, dogs, and other cats. He is also FIV positive, which simply means his adopter will need a little education about his condition—but with proper care, Oscar can live a long, happy, and love-filled life.

This sweet boy is incredibly chatty, affectionate, and always looking for pets and attention. Oscar would thrive in a home where he can spend plenty of time with his people and be cherished for the special, resilient, and loving cat he is.

Drum Roll Please!

Introducing the most adorable little Bud!

His Wisdom Panel results are in, Bud is the perfect mix of 16 different breeds, with histop breeds being 41% Siberian Husky, 14% Belgian Malinois, and 12% German Shepherd Dog.

He is 12 weeks old and weighs in at 15.5 lbs. His estimated adult weight is between 49–82 lbs.

He is doing an amazing job with potty and crate training and is a very snuggly guy. He be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, he loves to explore and play. Bud is dog & CAT friendly and ready to join his forever family for a lifetime of fun and adventures!

Bud is under the care of my friends at ReRescue Rowut of Frisco, Texas.

Who has puppy fever?

Little Sprout came to see me for some updated adoption photos and just look at the results.

This guy has the most stunning eyes and ohhh the puppy breath! Sprout is dog & CAT friendly and would absolutely thrive in a home with another canine companion.

Sprout is 12 weeks and ready to join his forever families!

Sprout weighs 16.8 lbs. According to Wisdom Panel, he is primarily Siberian Husky (41%), with Belgian Malinois (14%) and German Shepherd Dog (12%) mixed in. His estimated adult weight is between 49–82 lbs.

He is making great progress with potty training and crate training, and sleeps through the night in his crate.

Sprout is currently under the care of my friends at Rescue Row out of Frisco, Texas.

I had so much fun photographing Zoey! She is the sweetest puppy who is ready for a family of her very own!

Adopt Zoey!

Zoey is an adorable American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier mix (our best guess!) and currently weighs 30 lbs. She is 4 months old, born on 12/11/2025. She is currently working on crate and potty training and making great progress. She is so incredibly sweet and does great with other dogs. She will need another medium to large dog in her forever home.

Zoey is available for adoption through my friends at Rescue Row out of Frisco, Texas.

The Rescue will not be placing her in an apartment due to her breed and size. They also require that there be no children under 7 in the home, as she is still learning manners and doesn’t yet realize how big she is.

Update: Adopted!

Who has a soft spot for senior kitties? These sweet ladies are looking for a quiet, loving retirement home.

Samba and Jitterbug are a sweet pair of senior kitties who are searching for a soft place to land after their beloved owner passed away.

Their world has been turned upside down - but their gentle, loving spirits remain unchanged.

These two are the definition of calm companionship. They are affectionate without being demanding, happy to sit beside you, keep you company, and quietly share in your day. Their presence brings a peaceful warmth to a home—like old friends who already know your rhythm.

Samba and Jitterbug are very bonded and take great comfort in one another, so we would love to see them adopted together if possible. That said, we will consider separating them for the right homes where each kitty will receive plenty of love, attention, and a peaceful environment.

They would do best in a quieter home without dogs, and with adults or older, respectful teens.

Senior cats have a special kind of love to give—steady, grateful, and deeply connected. Samba and Jitterbug still have many wonderful years ahead of them, filled with purrs, companionship, and devotion. All they need now is someone to give them the second chapter they deserve.
