We’re pleased to welcome Brett Swanson to the Western Massachusetts Comic Book Show!
Brett Swanson is an artist who specializes primarily in comic book and cartoon art and dabbles occasionally in fine and abstract art. Brett lives in Stonington, CT with his wife and 3 dogs. Brett self-publishes his own line of comic books for kids, and kids of all ages. Power Kid Comics has 15 issues in the series, as well as 3 collected editions. Each book is written, drawn, inked and colored by Brett. In addition, he has several other independent comic books he has created such as The Sentinel, other independent comic books he has created such as The Sentinel, Steel Dragon and US Male and Little Max. Brett is a 1991 graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Arts and he has published several cartoon strips for local newspapers and national magazines. Brett exhibits in various art shows and comic cons and teaches classes on How to Draw Comics. For more information please visit his website www.powerkidcomics.com
