“It was one of the highlights of my life.” Robert Duvall on Lonesome Dove

We’ve had a lot of films shoot on this land over the years, but Lonesome Dove holds a special place in our hearts. Hearing Mr. Duvall call it a highlight of his life makes it even more meaningful.

It’s moments like this that remind us why we do what we do. This land carries stories and we’re proud to have been part of telling one of the greatest Westerns ever made.

Thank you, Mr. Duvall. You made history here.

Ransom Canyon is officially coming back for Season 2!

We’re celebrating by sharing a few shots of our Pond House set, which served as Quinn’s (Minka Kelly) ranch home in Season 1. It was a great part of the story, and we’re proud to have been a piece of the journey.

Can’t wait to see where Season 2 takes us!
