I wanted to test some blocky seamless multicolor concepts to evoke public service, but also pay homage to just a bit of fashion, uniqueness, and playfulness. This photo concept is centered around public service with an eye to the future and a distinction from the traditional headshot from which it is derived.

I am a traditionalist, and I love the white background. But I wanted to try something new, something fun and collaborative, and just a little bit more creative while still prioritizing the tradition of a great headshot. I also wanted to test the colors of red, white and blue, because many of my clients have lately have been politicals.

✨Wedding Tip Wednesday✨

Tip: Make sure your officiant knows to get out from behind *the* kiss photo! Most will automatically do this (like Ariel and Derek’s officiant, who timed his stepping aside perfectly 🤌), but it doesn't hurt to remind them and even practice it at the rehearsal. Hint: it helps if they step aside and *then* invite the couple to kiss.
