Dear Beloved Friends Far and Wide:
As fate would have it, my path to follow what Spirit and Life has had to teach me in these last two years has been to leave my Marin community after 53 years after the death of my amazing Jewish Momma Pearl, so I could learn what it feels like to feel at HOME inside myself wherever Life takes me.
That has required me to let go of being physically with all my California friends, my Marin community, my familiar world… for what is becoming years of quiet inner living, not just months, including missing out on being with you all as our country and the entire world goes through a metamorphosis, a death/birth, a time of deep reckoning of our country’s karma with Native American genocide, forced African slavery, and empire building of fast food capitalism proliferating around the planet…amidst all the amazing culture, music, and Greater Good beauty we all participate in co-creating endlessly in our efforts to Rise as beings of Light and Love amidst the obsessions of greed, war and power.
As someone who knows in every marrow of my being that we humans are made to best metabolize grief in the context of a tribe or community, and I who deeply loves my friends and community with my whole heart, it’s not been easy to leave everything and everyone I am close to!
With my father Irving and my sister Alexis and my Mother Pearl all no longer living in this realm- and my older brother Steve now struggling with a new serious cancer diagnosis in Tucson with so little support to navigate those turbulent waters- , I’m being obviously guided to trust that all of our parted beloveds might have left us in this 3D realm- ..but, truly THEY’RE STILL HERE…they’re really still here.
So…while I’m still living in a kind of limbo in my rebound flat thanks to my amazing friends and colleagues, Hope Fitzgerald and Jim Sexton who are among the few whom I know here, after being spit out from Hurricane Helene in Asheville last late September to Pioneer Valley MA, …and then, after having my 15 year beautiful Wisdom of the World website completely destroyed three months ago by cyber hackers, I’m learning how to experience what it really means that “Life Happens FOR me not TO ME”…while learning how to truly experience a sense of belonging and HOME in my body, my heart, my soul, and my spirit….in a location with such a wildly different culture… where I know so few people- at a time when my inner life has been given the gift of having to be so much richer …so I can learn the fundamental truth… that I AM HERE. HE NAY NI, as it is said in Hebrew. Here I am-
AND yes, I miss YOU, my friends, my community, my many families around the world of such deep intimacy and resonance- SO MUCH!- but we are all here, always interconnected, always ONE, as my Holomovement community so eloquently shares.
As my beloved late awakened soul-friend Neal Rogin called it- my “prisonality” -so badly wants to see you all “in the flesh”, but it’s just not going to be possible, sadly. Loving and accepting what is: easier said than done!
So I must remember WE ARE HERE, TOGETHER,always and in all ways.
I guess that’s what Source wants me to remember, know and feel.
So…
For any of you who are going to Burning Man, (I’m crossing off that off my Bucket List this year (and I’m alternately terrified and exhilarated at the thought of doing this crazy thing at my age!)), please reach out to me if you’re attending.
Or reach out to me at any time, if your inner voice guides you to want to connect so we can remind one another that we are always a part of one another .
Know that I am always with you.
Wherever and whenever we shared loving smiles and laughter and resonance at any point of our lives, we will always be here, in this realm,, together, ONE.
And since I so rarely share like this on FB, it would be remiss of me if I didn’t share what is occupying my heart mind body and soul most of all is this Oneness. A project to affirm our unity.
