HOW YOU CAN HELP THE LA 400!! 🚨🚨

The piggies are going to start hitting the shelters tomorrow! From what I’ve been told they will be spreading them out among the 6 City Shelters! Volunteers have been prepping all day!

These shelters do NOT have the capacity for this! They will need sooooo many supplies and veggies and help!

I can speak for West LA and South LA- they have amazing volunteers dedicated to just the small animals. These are the troops that will be on the front lines tomorrow. They tirelessly and selflessly spend their time FOR FREE caring for the small of the shelter day in and day out. Spending their own money on veggies, getting their own donations of supplies!

and have always had Amazon Wishlists to help them care for the shelter smalls. They have updated their lists today to reflect the massive intake they are anticipating tomorrow. Most needed: vitamin c, water bottles and liners/fleece.

Meet Daisy Mae 🌼

This tiny sweetheart is a 6-year-old Chihuahua with a big heart and a tiny body — weighing in at just 6.5 lbs! Daisy Mae was heartbreakingly found abandoned on the side of the road, but despite her rough start, she’s nothing but love and snuggles.

Daisy is the ultimate couch companion. Her favorite hobbies? Napping beside you, burrowing under the blankets, and riding shotgun in your lap. She gets along with other small dogs and even cats, but her true loyalty lies with her person. Big dogs can be a little scary for her, so she’d thrive in a calm home with small pups or as your one-and-only.

🧹 Help us rake/clean the residents’ areas, scrub pools & water troughs, finish special projects, and spend time with the animals.

⏳ You’re welcome to stay the entire time, but any time you can spare is always appreciated.
