That’s a wrap on our inaugural year of The Backyard Film Project summer camp!

Immensely proud of these kids for walking through the filmmaking process, learning & implementing new techniques, and doing it all in such a small amount of time.

Keep an eye out for next year’s camp—we’ll be back next summer better than ever!

Introducing — “Twenty Twenties,” a short web series.

On an average summer Friday, five friends must navigate the weight of their difficult & nuanced lives as twenty-somethings, as they all prepare for an impromptu evening barbecue together.

This project is one born of personal passion, and a hope to communicate ideas under the theme of young adulthood & what it feels like to be a young person in today’s world. The series features a great roster of talented local actors, ready to bring this thing to life!

The series is low/no budget, and being brought to life through pure grit & commitment from all parties involved — follow along for the production journey & all project updates.

I recently had the chance to shoot some quick interviews for video bios, for some website updates. This space provided a clean, elegant feel and each of these guys had great things to say about their long careers in the DJ industry — and fun fact, they all prefer 90s R&B as their daily listen.

I love getting to capture, real, human moments like these — DMs are always open for projects.

I am thrilled to announce that our short film “Cold Call” has been selected for this years 10 year anniversary film festival! Thank you to the selection committee for this honor 🎉

Cold Call is a quick, punchy comedy short that deals with themes of anxiety & the ridiculousness of cold phone calls. Come out to this years’ festival (March 28th-30th) to see the film, alongside many other great works.
