WE'RE MOVING! The Calhoun Times will be moving to a new location on Wednesday (July 30).
After over six years on South King Street, the newspaper will relocate its newsroom staff to an office at 216 W. Belmont Drive.
"We are excited to move to a location that better suits our needs, and has a more traditional office feel," Managing Editor Blake Silvers said. "Though not downtown, the new office is in a highly trafficked area where most Gordon County residents travel through at least weekly, if not every day."
The staff will work the rest of the week to get the new office set up, and may work remotely for a short time until the new location has fully operational utilities, phone, and internet service. New signage is also scheduled to be installed at the new location soon.
"Please be patient as our staff continues to cover the news in the community, while also getting settled in at our new location," Silvers said.
Though the newsroom staff may be temporarily displaced during the moving process, this move does not affect services such as circulation, and advertising (business, legal, classified), and our longtime mailing address will remain the same.
