The humidity will be increasing next week as more of a southerly flow in the atmosphere takes shape. Even though afternoon highs will likely stay in the upper 80s to near 90, adding more humidity will make it feel more like the mid to upper 90s.

Good morning East Tennessee!
What an amazing morning in Upper East Tennessee with morning temps in the low to mid 60s. Everyone else is closer to 70. Still nice, but a bit more humid. Highs today reach the upper 80s, which is average for this time of the year. We'll have a little more humidity, so our heat index will be pushing the low 90s. A typical August Saturday ahead!
