Summer’s coming… which means kids are ready for FUN hair colors 🎨💁‍♀️

And this sweet mama said, “I wanna match my daughter!” — which is adorable… in theory 😅

But let’s talk about what actually happened…
Her hair was heavily highlighted and said:
“Oh you want turquoise?? Don’t mind if I DO.”

And baby… it HELD ON like:
👉 a toddler clutching a juice box
👉 me holding onto my Target cart
👉 or that one friend who won’t let you leave the conversation 😂

This color did NOT come to play. It moved in, unpacked its bags, and said “I live here now.”

So moms… consider this your friendly warning ⚠️
Fun colors + highlighted hair = a long-term relationship, not a summer fling 💙

Aimee fixed her up and it looked AMAZING 🙌
But learn from this moment… because turquoise does not believe in “washing out”

Okay but listen… this right here is my ✨ride or die✨ dry texture spray 🙌

The way this can sprays?? BABY—it does not come to play. One press and suddenly I’m transported straight back to the 80s with volume so big it needs its own zip code 💁‍♀️

We’re talking:
✔️ Sky-high roots
✔️ Fluffy, piece-y texture
✔️ “The higher the hair, the closer to Jesus” energy 🙏😂

If your hair isn’t slightly dramatic… are we even trying??

Blow drying my hair should honestly close my Apple Watch rings 💁‍♀️😂

Between holding the dryer, round brush gymnastics, and that one arm that starts shaking halfway through… I’m basically an athlete at this point 🏋️‍♀️

✨ A trim… is still a haircut.

When you sit in the chair and say “just a trim”, it still means shaping the hair, removing damage, and keeping the ends healthy.

Those thin, see-through ends?
They usually need more than people think.
