This is reflected in the music we play (which is largely geared to local and independent artists), our radio personalities (who are often entrepreneurs just starting out in radio or everyday outspoken individuals), the way we talk (completely unfiltered and free) and how we do business (locally first). Houston, TX – July 2, 2025 – On Tuesday, July 1st, BET+ celebrated the launch of the newest extension of the “Sistas” universe, “Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas,” in Houston at Bungalow Downtown Dining. Houston’s most notable VIP’s and influencers including Devale Ellis, Muneera Paige, Karen Johnson, DJ Supastar, Xandi, Sunni The Rapper and more attended the elegant cocktail mixer and reception hosted by Houston’s very own rapper and actress, Jazz Anderson.

Created, written, and directed by Perry, who also serves as an executive producer, “Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas” follows five close friends — Rasheda, Geneva, Naomi, Tiffany, and Bridgette — as they navigate life, love and the challenges that come with divorce, marriage and dating. As they lean on each other through heartbreak and healing, their biggest test comes from within their own circle, challenging their loyalty,

The ensemble cast stars LeToya Luckett, Khadeen Indréa, Porscha Coleman, Briana Price, Jennifer Sears, RonReaco Lee, DeVon Franklin, Donovan Christie Jr., and Robert Christopher Riley.

“Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas,” is now streaming on BET+. New episodes from the eight-episode season will drop Thursdays weekly on BET+, with the first half of Season 1 concluding on Thursday, July 24th.
