A Gofundme has been set up to help the 6 children of an Eastpointe McDonald's manager stabbed to death by an employee. "My mother didn't deserve what happened to her at all. She died trying to provide for us."

Police said the victim was Jennifer Harris, 39-year-old a mother of six children, who had worked at the McDonald's location on 9 Mile Rd. near Kelly for more than a decade. She was fatally stabbed on Thursday.

A former Macomb County paraprofessional has pled guilty to striking a young child with a shoe. Kimberly Horen, 55 of Eastpointe, pled guilty to Assault and Battery, a 93-day misdemeanor.
