I know what'cha gonna say,...It'll be fine, trust me.

Yes, it has a permit. Yes, it passed final inspection. Yes, the stairs do "bounce". Yes, it would be better with mid-posts. I did this as a subcontractor with zero input on design or contract. They told me what to build, and I built it. Not too shabby though. (Hot tub is staying on the concrete, so no need for extra carrier beams)

Just realized cracks in 2x6 after putting up pole barn. Should I be worried or is there anything I can do?

How to repair our deck?

Our deck is very stable, but old and shabby. I took off the plywood surround. We have dryer vents underneath creating moisture, without escape. I want to reinforce the deck somehow and possible add plywood to the front portion only. How would you suggest I do this? Looking to replace in 5 years or so, but we currently have two kids under two and need some time.

Bear Fence

The installation was a family project, but I cut every piece myself with a DeWalt cordless cut-out tool. Our last name is related to bears, and my father-in-law made the original fence (painted brown). I started with his bear design and add my own elements to create the new fence.

Not sure if this is the right audience

This is my second arcade build. I’ve literally just started woodworking in April of this year, I’ve posted this build in other threads with it gaining traction but I’m not here for that exactly, I’m wanting to become better with my tools and techniques. Seeing the amount of positive critiques from this thread, I feel I’ll get sent in the right direction to accomplish that

I think I finally got one of those crazy deals. All this cherry for $300.

Couple of pieces that are definitely cedar but otherwise all American cherry. Most pieces are 8-10 feet long. One cherry floor board if you can spot it.
