Progressive Rural Telephone has been serving Members in Laurens, Dodge, Wilkinson, Bleckley and Wheeler counties since 1957. We take pride in being your Total Communication Provider. PRTC works hard to provide quality services at the best prices. We always strive to put our Members first.

A fiber optic cable has been cut on Hillbridge Road, impacting a service outage for some PRTC customers on Cauthen Ln, Clark Rd, Hillbridge Rd, and Walke Dairy Road.

Our Construction Department is actively working to repair the cable, and we expect service to be restored by 4:00 PM today.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue.

PRTC Absolute CableTV customers will receive Paramount Plus with Showtime, FREE, beginning Friday, July 11 thru Monday, July 14. We hope you enjoy these free channels. They should be added by noon on Friday and will automatically be removed on Monday. The channels are listed on the attached flyer. PRTC Internet and Cable TV customers, due to some technical trouble in Atlanta, you maybe experiencing slow internet and tiling on your TV. The local channels are not affected. Technicians are working on the problem but they do not know how long it may take to rectify the issue. We hope it will be repaired soon. Thank you for your patience and for being a loyal PRTC customer.

In observance of Memorial Day, PRTC will be closed Monday, May 26. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 27 at 8AM. Remember and honor the men and women of the military who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our great nation.

We have been notified that WGXA Channels 16, 24, and 26 are currently unavailable due to an issue on WGXA's end. Unfortunately, they are unable to provide an estimated time for when service will be restored.
