For tonight's image we'll head over to the North Side and an image that I captured on Friday night.

Like I mentioned a few days ago, my friend Alex and I spent about three hours capturing the city downtown that night, mostly on film (which I'll be sending in to be developed tomorrow). After I dropped him off, I made a last minute decision to check out Lake Elizabeth and West Park, and boy am I glad that I did.

I enjoyed capturing some scenes around the lake and was getting ready to head out when I saw a couple walking towards the park. I thought that I'd stick around and see if they walked over the bridges or by the edge of the lake, and as you can see, they did the latter.

They stood there for a minute or two, capturing some images on their phones and enjoying the snowfall, just as I was. While I would have liked the image if they hadn't walked by, having them in the frame made it so much better.

Whoever you are, thanks for taking a walk at just the right time.
