We were thrilled to work on this short film that spotlights global activists acrosss the world rising to end violence against women and girls and mother earth. Editing the video was beyond inspiration... thank you to One Billion Rising global activists... we stand in solidarity and rise with you!

PARAMITA is a poetic personal documentary bearing testament to the story of Prajna Paramita, a South Asian q***r woman, as she comes out to her family, and steps onto a Buddhist spiritual path that guides her as an activist and healer. Prajna Paramita’s story mirrors the living questions: How do we honor and find bridges to our cultural traditions when our families reject our romantic (q***r) love and livelihood choices? How can we take our place in a white-centering American system that teaches us to experience our own ancestral wisdom through a colonized lens? And what does resistance look like when guided by spirit? We walk with Prajna Paramita as she claims her own q***r brown body and experiences, finding her way towards a space of collective healing and vow of co-liberation.

Did you know that the Oakland's Coliseum vaccination site is the FIRST federally funded mass vaccination site in the country? I was on-site opening day and got to hear from some of the amazing on-the-ground nurses and local and national officials leading these efforts. This is the first time we have all dealt with a global pandemic and I am sure there will be a lot of lessons and adaptations needed as the vaccination process rolls out. Oakland is modeling the way - Oakland’s site is intentionally situated in a location that is accessible to communities that historically have been under-resourced and a portion of the additional staffing hires are local.

We are beyond thrilled to share this new film about Off the Mat, Into the World™. We wanted to create a film that offers a window into the heart of Off the Mat and the community of leaders bridging the tools of yoga with sustainable, conscious activism and social change.

As a fellow yogi who is committed to social justice, this has been a dream project - both in terms of content - uplifting how yoga is social justice, and also because I got to meet amazing people (and friends) shepherding this work and nourishing beloved community.

Please help AMPLIFY and SHARE his video with others who want to take their practice off the mat and into the world!

Honored to screen my new film "Magical Messages We Were Made for These Times: I Take My Place" at CAAMFest Forward. Festival starts this Wedneday, 10/14 and runs thorugh 10/18!!!! And my film is part of the Video on Demand section, so everyone can watch it!

My film will be part of a shorts program called BEYOND MAGIC. I recorded a Q/A with the other filmmakers earleir this week and wow ~ this is going to be an exquisite, and yes magical program.

There will also be tons of other amazing films - online and some limited drive in Bay Area experiences.
