List25 is a creation by Syed Balkhi and David Pegg, college roommates from University of Florida who loved finding bizarre yet interesting information on the internet, and sharing it with their friends. The problem was facebook just couldn’t compile it in a way they wanted it. It was impossible to pull what they had shared few months ago. In Sweden, researchers and innovators have developed a fascinating idea that combines animal intelligence with modern technology.

Crows, known for their exceptional problem solving abilities, are being trained to pick up small pieces of litter such as cigarette butts and drop them into specially designed machines. In return, the machine rewards them with food.

This system works through conditioning, where the birds quickly learn that collecting trash leads to a reward. Over time, they begin actively searching for litter in their surroundings.

The goal is to explore whether this approach could help reduce urban waste while using the natural intelligence of crows in a positive way.

However, the concept is still in experimental stages, and researchers are carefully studying its long term impact, including ethical concerns and environmental effectiveness.

In 2013, a Nigerian cook named Harrison Okene was working aboard a tugboat off the coast of Nigeria when it capsized and sank to the ocean floor.

He became trapped inside an air pocket in the wreck, about 30 meters underwater.

With no light and very little space, he survived for nearly 60 hours, using small amounts of air while surrounded by water.

Rescue divers eventually reached the wreck and were shocked to find him alive. He was carefully brought back to the surface after spending over two days in total darkness.

His survival is considered one of the most remarkable underwater survival stories ever recorded.

Mount Everest is known as the highest point on Earth, but its rocks tell a very different story.

Near its summit, scientists have discovered marine fossils such as brachiopods and other ancient sea organisms embedded in limestone. These fossils date back hundreds of millions of years, long before the Himalayas even existed.

Around 450 million years ago, this region was part of an ancient ocean known as the Tethys Ocean. Over time, the Indian tectonic plate slowly collided with the Eurasian plate, forcing the seabed upward and forming the Himalayan mountain range.

This powerful geological process continues even today, with Mount Everest still rising slightly each year.

What we now see as the highest point on Earth was once deep beneath the ocean, showing just how dramatically our planet can change over time.

In Arkansas, USA, there is a unique place called Crater of Diamonds State Park where anyone can search for real diamonds.

Unlike most mines, this site is open to the public, and visitors are allowed to keep whatever they find.

The park sits on an eroded volcanic crater, which is the source of the diamonds scattered in the soil.

Since it became a state park in 1972, visitors have discovered more than 75,000 diamonds, along with other gemstones and minerals.

On average, a few diamonds are found there every day, ranging from tiny specks to rare stones weighing several carats.

Some of the largest diamonds ever found in the United States have been discovered at this site.

Because the field is regularly plowed and natural erosion continues to bring diamonds to the surface, new finds are always possible.

Clouds may look soft and weightless, but they actually contain an enormous amount of water.

An average cumulus cloud can hold roughly 500,000 kilograms (about 550 tons) of water droplets, which is close to the weight of hundreds of elephants. The total weight can be around a million tonnes.

The reason clouds don’t fall is because the droplets inside them are incredibly tiny and spread far apart. Air resistance keeps them suspended while warm rising air currents from below provide lift.

As long as the droplets remain small and dispersed, the cloud stays floating. When droplets collide and grow large enough, gravity finally pulls them down as rain.

So the next time you look at a cloud, remember that an invisible mountain of water may be drifting silently above you.
