List25 is a creation by Syed Balkhi and David Pegg, college roommates from University of Florida who loved finding bizarre yet interesting information on the internet, and sharing it with their friends. The problem was facebook just couldn’t compile it in a way they wanted it. It was impossible to pull what they had shared few months ago. Out of their frustration, they decided to solve the problem with a new project called List25.

Wine, along with beer and cider, was even sold in some school cafeterias, depending on the school. Some parents packed wine, cider, or beer in their child’s lunch or even gave them wine at breakfast before school. 😅

Did you know that "smoking scorpions" is a thing in different regions across South Asia? 😱

It's a cheaper alternative to get high, and there's no law against it. The high and the feelings of euphoria are claimed to be more powerful than h*roin and that can last up to three days. However, it's extremely addictive and the first six hours or so are very painful because the body is getting used to the poison. It can cause memory loss, massive hallucinations, and eating and sleeping disorders.

There are different methods to use the scorpion venom to get high. "A dealer will place a scorpion in a person's hand and bat it with a stick until it stings the person with its tail. Others opt to smoke the scorpion, which involves burning it alive over coals while inhaling the venomous smoke. Still, others will dry a dead scorpion in sunlight, mix its remains with hashish and to***co, and either roll it like a cigarette or place it in a small pipe."

No statistics are available to know just how prevalent this practice is. However, experts say that it's not rare and has been around for decades.
