More all-star basketball fun tonight at Lockwood High School beginning at 5p. Girls go first then the boys at 7p. Last night in Gillette, Montana teams were winners. In the girls game, Wyoming and Montana combined for 93 points in the first half and it was close throughout with Montana winning by 11. Lots of highlights in the boy's game including a jaw-dropping, thunder dunk by Skyview's Kai Owens, two quarter ending buzzer be**er 3's by Tevin Wetzel and two bloody noses for Gallatin's Grant Vigen in his rebounding battles. Come on out tonight to Lockwood and enjoy some great basketball. It's my privilege to have the radio/internet call.

Sure has been awesome working with the SWX production and camera crew for the North Star/Frontier volleyball Crossover this weekend. 3 camera angles, closeups, replays of great plays. Kind of puts a whole new spin on volleyball play by play for a long time radio and internet tv announcer. Nice to see these hard-working, talented players get this kind of coverage. One more morning of fun on channel 503 and tds channel 8 this morning at 9a & 11a across the Northwest and right here in Billings. Western/Dickinson State @ 9 and #13 Providence/Mayville State at 11a Well done Marty Lyons Productions.

11/10/2024

Live NAIA Volleyball today from the Fortin Center in Billings on SWX. 3p--Defending NAIA champions, #2 Jamestown will take on U of M Western. Great day at the volleyball crossover tournament at Rocky Mountain College. Rocky played well in a loss to #2 Jamestown and a 5 set thriller between Western and Valley City State. Every set down to the wire before Western pulled it out with a 16-14 win in the final set. Back on SWX, tomorrow with the 3p game with Western taking on Jamestown and at 5p, Rocky Mountain College facing Valley City State at 5p. On local TDS channel 8, and they do a great job covering the action with 3 cameras and a veteran, volleyball announcer.

10/10/2024

RMC volleyball takes on #2 Jamestown tomorrow at 3p, and then at 5p it's Western against Valley City State University. Great chance to see one of the top teams in the NAIA in action. Both matches will be on SWX either live or tape-delayed in the evening. Not sure yet. It will be fun for me to be doing college volleyball again. Lots of local players. Former Skyview coach, Stormy Siemion will be bringing her Dickinson State team as part of the crossover.
