The Scribe is the nonprofit arts newspaper of Ohio, where artists can freely promote their works. Not only that, but they are featured to a massive readership that's in over 200 community locations across Ohio.

To submit, send us 4-5 good images of your favorite works in your portfolio, 3 good biographical paragraphs about yourself, and a headshot. Send everything either over email or Instagram DM! All mediums and disciplines of art are accepted!!

Announcing our first fan art contest for The Scribe. Seshat, our mascot, has virtually no art since Ancient Egyptian times.

We're looking for family friendly digital or physical artwork of Seshat, in any pose. There's no fee to submit, and you can submit as many artworks as you want.

One winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card to be used on anything they'd like, plus their artwork will be shown in a future edition! The winner will be announced shortly after the contest deadline of June 30th 2025.

Submit your art to The Scribe newspaper! Once a month, The Scribe features Ohio artists, authors, writers, musicians, filmmakers and more. There's no cost or licensing, and it is entirely free for artists. The Scribe is Ohio's first state-wide arts newspaper, and is stocked in 17 Ohio cities.

CALL FOR ARTISTS - Lumina Art Space invites passionate women artists to submit their works for our upcoming Women Artists Group Exhibition this April. This exhibition aims to showcase diverse artistic voices and creative expressions.
- Professional exhibition in a curated gallery space

- Networking with curators, artists, and art professionals

Eligibility:
- Open to local women artists working in any 2D medium
