Round 2!

Can’t show off the threads without doing some color too! Every time I do photos with this group, I enjoy the level of detail they put into their outfits and it’s fantastic! There’s always some little nugget I find in the photos that I didn’t notice in person.

Cover songs are a newly modified portal to a past life. They invoke emotions that feel ancient yet so easily bubble to the surface. Sometimes they punch us right in the gut.
This one hurts. It’s such a beautiful cover and I’m grateful for it but it’s painful to listen to. I’m thinking of a friend, the old version of him before the drugs ruined and took his life. This album always makes me think of him, because it represents an entire summer of our lives, rollin’ around in that red Ford Ranger and singing these songs while engaging in all the shenanigans.

Really glad this guy did the song justice…I’m not the only person in the world that feels this song deeply, it’s important for whoever covers it to get it right.

Miss the old version of you bud, wish you were still here. 💔
