The Oregon Ducks return to Autzen Stadium on Saturday. Following a dominating win at Rutgers, Oregon will look to continue their winning ways. The Wisconsin Badgers come calling on what will be a very stormy day in the southern Willamette Valley.

Let's jump right into the DuckCast. It will be a wet, wild, and windy afternoon and evening in Eugene. The temperature at kickoff will be right about 54 degrees. The temp will hold steady for most of the day. The big story will be the wind and rain. While it never rains at Autzen Stadium, it can really pour. Winds will be out of the southwest at about 25 mph, with gusts approaching 40 mph. The wind will swirl around the inside of the stadium. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms especially in the afternoon. Rain amounts will approach roughly half an inch. If you're going to the game, wear Tie-Dye and try to stay dry. Let's cheer on the boys to another BIG victory. Go Ducks!

The Ducks look to get back to winning this weekend as they make the longest trip of the year. Raise your hand if going to New Jersey sounds like fun after a loss...Yeah I didn't think so. The Ducks travel to take on a Rutgers team that is the perfect medicine to get Oregon back on top.

The weather in Piscataway will be perfect for college football. The temperature at kickoff will be right about 60 degrees and will slowly fall into the mid 50s by the time the game is over. A slight southerly wind won't make much of a difference. Partly cloudy skies will be the call as Oregon matches up against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. If you going to the game or just watching from home, make sure to wear GREEN. Let's cheer on the boys to a rebound win. Go Ducks!

The Oregon Ducks return to the field following a much needed bye week. Following an overtime win at Penn State, the Ducks took the week to regroup and get healthy as the BIG TEN schedule settles in and good opponents come calling. A very talented Indiana team comes to Autzen with the hopes of playing a spoiler, however, they haven't played in front of an Autzen crowd that is hungry for a big win.

The weather on Saturday will be classic fall for the Pacific Northwest. While it never rains at Autzen Stadium, there will be plenty of liquid sunshine as kickoff approaches. One good thing is that any rain that does fall should be light. Forecast models say about a tenth of an inch should fall between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The temperature at kickoff will be right about 60 degrees. A southerly wind around 7 mph will make it feel a bit crisp. Winds from the south don't really swirl around the inside of the stadium, so it shouldn't have much effect on the ball. If you're going to the game, make sure to wear YELLOW. Let's cheer on the boys to another big win. Go Ducks!

It is the game everyone has had circled on the calendar since the schedule was released. Its a rematch of the Big Ten title game last year in which Oregon walked away with the trophy. The Oregon Ducks will head to State College, Pennsylvania to take on Penn State and the infamous "White Out." I have no doubt that Beaver Stadium will be an electric atmosphere, but Oregon plays in a stadium that easily rivals that. The Ducks go in as the underdog, but Coach Lanning will have the boys ready to go.

Weatherwise, Penn State is a meteorology powerhouse. Its one of the big weather schools in the country. Since we are talking about weather, lets look at the game. Penn State might need some weather help to beat Oregon. At kickoff, the temperature will be in the upper 60s. A very light wind will make it feel perfect for an evening contest. Mostly cloudy skies will be the call. A weak area of low pressure will be making its way northeastward. Forecast models say there is a very slight chance of a light shower around kickoff. My gut says no rain, but we will wait and see. I will update this forecast if needed. If you going to game, enjoy it and soak up the atmosphere. Make sure to wear GREEN. Let's cheer on the boys to another BIG win. Go Ducks!

It is the game that determines the right to live in the state of Oregon. The Ducks and Beavers will meet for one more time at Autzen on Saturday. There are reports that the series will resume in 2027 and I for one, hope that is the case. Oregon returns home following a big win on the banks of Lake Michigan. Coach Lanning said the team had some work to do and from everything the DuckCast has heard, the team took care of it this week.

The weather on Saturday will be perfect. Sunny skies will dominate the Willamette Valley. The temperature at kickoff will be in the lower 70s and will climb toward 80 during the game. A light west wind will make it feel amazing in the sunshine at Autzen. If you are going to the game, make sure to wear BLACK. Let's cheer on the boys to another win and get ready for a huge game next weekend.

The Oregon Ducks head on the road for the first time this season and will head to the Windy City and the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan to take on Northwestern. The Wildcats are building a new stadium, but everyone says the temporary location on the shore of Lake Michigan might be the most beautiful setting for a stadium in all of college football. Oregon is coming off a dominating win over Oklahoma State and now begin Big Ten play.

The weather on Saturday will be something that is more Eugene than anything else. A cold front is scheduled to move through the region Saturday morning. Weather models say that there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms from about 10 a.m. central through about 2 p.m. central. Winds will be gusting out of the south between 15 and 20 mph through the day. The temperature at kickoff will hover in the low 70s. Forecast models say about a quarter of an inch of rain could fall during the game. If you are at the game or just watching, make sure to wear GREEN. Let's cheer on the boys to another BIG win and let's keep this season going. Go Ducks!

The Oregon Ducks remain home following an impressive win last weekend against Montana State. Saturday is another chance to go 1-0. My one takeaway from the game last Saturday…Oregon is very good.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys come calling to Autzen Stadium on Saturday. Coach MIke Gundy, who is now 58, will come to Eugene with a second string qb leading the Cowboys down those east tunnels.

The weather for Saturday’s contest is a bit tricky. Most weather models say no to any sort of precipitation, while others say there is a very slight chance of seeing some thunderstorms in the area. Here at the DuckCast, we will continue to monitor the conditions and make any changes needed. Here is what we think for tomorrow. The temperature at kickoff will be in the low 70s under mostly cloudy skies. It might be a bit on the humid side, by Oregon standards. A very light westerly wind will make it feel a little more comfortable. If there is a thunderstorm around the stadium, make sure to know where to go if they have to clear the stands. Knowing your quickest route to safety is always something someone should know. Take a second to locate the quickest exit to the concourse should you need it.

If you are going to the game, make sure to wear GREEN and cheer on the boys to another win. This magical season is just starting and I can’t wait to see what happens. Go Ducks!

Welcome to the 16th season of the DuckCast. For those of you who are new to this page, the DuckCast started as a fun project for GoDucks.com and has continued on this page and our X account. I'm Bobby Corser, a degreed meteorologist, who provides a look at each week's Oregon Duck Football matchup, home or away. Onto the forecast!

The Oregon Ducks open the 2025 season by welcoming in a tough opponent who has played for two national championships at the FCS level. The Montana State Bobcats are a very good team who have lead both the FCS and FBS in rushing over the past couple of seasons. While it is not the marquis match up dominating the headlines, it will be a good test for an Oregon Ducks team who has a lot to prove and a lot to gain. Last season, the Ducks were ranked #1, but fell to Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. This year, Coach Lanning and his players have their eyes set on returning to the playoff and finishing what they started last season.

While we all know "it never rains at Autzen Stadium," rain will not be in the forecast on Saturday. Mostly sunny skies with some high clouds will be the call for the 1 p.m. kickoff on BigTen Network. Temperatures will be in the mid 70s, but it will be much hotter on the north side of the stadium, where the full effect of the sun will be felt. It will also be very hot on the turf. A northwest wind blowing about 5 mph will bring a little relief, but overall, it will be a perfect day for an Oregon victory. If you are going to the game, make sure to wear sunscreen and drink plenty of water. Wear whatever color you want as we stripe out Autzen. Lets cheer on the boys to a win in the first game. Go Ducks.

The Oregon Ducks touched down in Los Angeles a few days ago. The team got right to work and all the pomp and circumstance of the Rose Bowl got into full swing. Oregon and Ohio State. Two former traditional teams meeting in "The Granddaddy of Them All" but now belonging to the same conference. None of that matters now as we have reached game day.

The weather in Pasadena has been beautiful all week long. High clouds will be the call with plenty of sunshine as the game kicks off. The temperature at kickoff will be in the low 70s and a light southwest wind at 6 mph will make it feel absolutely perfect. The Rose Bowl, at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains, is possibly the most beautiful location for a game to be played. Again, I will say what I said several months ago. The Rose Bowl should be the location of the National Championship game every year.

If you are watching on TV, or at the game in Pasadena, make sure to wear Oregon gear! Let's cheer on the boys to another big win. Go Ducks!

The Oregon Ducks took care of business last weekend and have gone undefeated in the regular season. 12-0 is a huge accomplishment and they aren't done yet. The Ducks arrived in Indianapolis for the B1G Ten Conference Championship ready to win it in their first season. Facing Oregon is Penn State who got the invite following Ohio State's loss to Michigan. Penn State is a talented team, but they have yet to really put it together against a stronger and more talented team.

The game is played indoors at Lucas Oil Stadium so the weather won't be a concern. Outside the stadium, it's a beautiful midwest winter day. Temperatures are in the upper 30s and will top out just about 40 at kickoff. It is quite windy outside of the stadium, however. Winds are sustained at about 15 mph with gusts near 25 mph. Wear GREEN if you are at the game or just watching from home! Let's cheer on the boys to their first B1G Ten title and get ready for the College Football Playoffs. Go Ducks!

Here we go! We've reached the final regular season game of Oregon's first season in the B1G Ten conference. To say it's been an adventure is an understatement. Oregon has already locked up a spot in the conference title game next weekend in Indianapolis. While it is nice knowing Oregon has another game, the Ducks will need to take care of business today first, and it is the biggest game of the year. The Washington Huskies played spoiler last year twice, and Oregon has not forgotten that. The Ducks will be ready to play.

The weather at Autzen Stadium will be perfect. No need to worry about rain or wind. Temperatures are cold in the Willamette Valley, and won't get above 40 degrees during the game. It's sunny in Eugene as we approach kickoff. Fog will settle in later but skies will be mostly clear for the whole game. A very light wind will make it feel a degree or two colder. If you are at Autzen or watching on TV, make sure to wear GREEN. Beat Washington and Go Ducks! Oh, before I go..."Kenny Wheaton is gonna score!"

The Oregon Ducks have arrived at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. The Ducks come in after taking care of business last week against Maryland. Every good team has a game or two where you face adversity, whether from your opponent or yourself. Oregon was able to overcome challenges and continue its run in the B1G Ten Conference. The Ducks now find themselves on another long road trip, but to a place where they have been before.

The Midwest weather will cooperate as the crowd jumps around. The temperatures will hold steady throughout the game in the upper 40s. The wind could be a potential issue. A vigorous cold front pushes through the area, with a strong south wind at 15 mph sustained while gusting 25 to 30 mph. Satellite imagery shows the two dominant airflow patterns over Wisconsin clearly. If you are at Camp Randall, enjoy the atmosphere because it is one of the great college football experiences. Whether you are at the stadium or just watching on tv, make sure to wear BLACK. Let's cheer on the boys to another win and let's head into the bye week healthy. Go Ducks!
