To be honest, this is not the 10-year Zeal anniversary recap film I had envisioned.

I had a whole event planned. A whole film planned. And then life happened... delayed house/moving, unpacking, balancing work and juggling motherhood and everything in between, and I realized I just couldn’t pull it all off right now.

So instead, you get this extremely casual video of me setting up my office while I ramble... Because after 10 years of filming weddings, the thing I care about most isn’t the fancy event or the perfect recap video, it’s what these films have actually meant to the people I’ve made them for!!!

So I want to hear from YOUUUU!

If I’ve filmed your wedding (or if you’ve watched a Zeal film, worked with me, or even just followed along all these years), I’d love for you to share:

mothers are magic. mothers make magic.

they create life. they give their lives. to love and sacrifice, to live fully and share in their joy.

when you become a mom, you see just how much your own mother did, the things no one sees but her. your life is magic because of the mother who made it so ❤️‍🔥

to the new moms,

when you wake up, before your feet even hit the floor, you're needed by little hearts yearning for closeness and aid. even when you're exhausted, through sleepless nights, you show up.

whether you're joyful, spread thin, fulfilled, or grieving, you pour into their lives. you love, you tend-to, you cry with, you let them find their wings, you give EVERYTHING and then send them off to sour, you MOTHER.

your giving is not in vain. your body, your soul, and your mind have grown and stretched, and you are a dazzling reflection of Gods love, unconditional and sacrificial.
..all the way to the empty nesters,

seasons of their life come and go, each one more fleeting than the next, and now it's finally quiet... after your hard toil. and you're sitting there, watching the seeds you once planted fully grown into a stunning garden.

in the silence, you get to gaze at the beautiful handiwork through years of love. the garden of new. new family, new lives, new memories. water your garden, you are still needed.

to my mother, with the most admiration, you are my inspiration of patience, generosity, and care. you gave me life, and now i give my life. i love you.
