Some things worth noting:
- My mawmaw & pawpaw moved to Tomball in 1970 and have been in this home ever since. Growing up, us grandkids would frequently visit & have sleepovers. A staple food item for breakfasts here were eggo waffles, specifically made by my grandma (with lots of butter and powdered sugar 😋) So, as an ode to our childhood, I had them make eggo waffles together. ❤️
-Every single decoration, picture, or piece furniture has a very special meaning and memory. I have always admired my mawmaws ability to create a warm, cozy & nostalgic home where everything has a story.
-She MADE her own wedding dress and still has it. 😭🙏🏽
-In passing, she had told me that she really wanted red roses on her original wedding cake, but when she showed up to her reception, it was plain white. I wanted to recreate a cake cutting moment for their 60th with a cake she loved, so I contacted a local bakery, told her the story, and she made the CUTEST tiny wedding cake with the red roses my mawmaw had always wanted! is the best!!
