Rock and Heavy Metal Icon Ozzy Osbourne Dies at 76

Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary frontman of Black Sabbath and one of the most influential figures in rock and heavy metal history, has passed away at the age of 76, according to a report from ABC News.

Known for his electrifying stage presence and groundbreaking music, Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019 and had been facing ongoing health challenges in recent years.

His legacy as the "Prince of Darkness" leaves an indelible mark on generations of fans and musicians around the world.

The 2024-25 school year was one of the most successful years ever for Marion High School Athletics. The Football team returned to the playoffs, boys basketball won a conference title for the first time in 37 years, Girls basketball won 20 games and reached the sectional championship game, softball won its 10th consecutive conference title and a regional title, and baseball had its third-straight 20-win season, won its second-straight conference title and won a regional title.

What did all of those things have in common. You heard them all on the Legendary WGGH Radio! For the past eight years, WGGH Radio had broadcast more Marion High School sports than any other media company. EVERY football game, EVERY boys basketball game, EVERY girls basketball game and TWENTY-FIVE spring games were heard on WGGH and the WGGH Mobile App.

We are already preparing for the new season, and from what we can tell, the Wildcats are in position to continue their success across the board.

I would love to share with you how you can be a part of Wildcat sports in 2025-26. I can meet with you in person, share with you over the phone, or send you information by email, however you prefer.
