We captured the heart and soul of Lao culture in our new documentary — and I couldn’t be prouder to share this with you all.
Getting to know the Lao people and their beautiful culture was an unforgettable experience. It reminded me so much of my own roots — the traditions, the family, the love.
This project wasn’t just a documentary— it was a journey that bridged past and present, linking our stories together. I saw reflections of our own customs in these Lao communities: the love of family gatherings, respect for elders, and the sense of pride in preserving heritage. It brought back memories of my childhood celebrations, the scents of home‑cooked meals, the rhythm of cultural music — it all came flooding back.
Huge thanks to everyone who welcomed me and shared your stories. And most importantly, thank you to Phanat Xanamane Sai Sion — we’ve created something truly meaningful, and I’m thrilled to finally present it to the world.
I invite you all to take 35 minutes of your time and watch this documentary, reflect on your own heritage, and celebrate the cultures that shape us. Let’s keep telling these stories — because they connect us, ground us, and remind us of who we are.
