The Sturgeon Bay Police aren't horsing around! Keep in mind if you plan on visiting Downtown Sturgeon Bay tomorrow.

The Budweiser Clydesdales and Flanigan Distributing, in working with the Sturgeon Bay Police Department, finalized the Clydesdales Delivery Route for August 14, 2025. This route will allow the Clydesdale Hitch Team optimal time on 3rd Avenue and allow the team to conduct safe turns. The team is scheduled to depart from Market Square at 4:00 pm and they will be making delivery stops in the following order:

Door County Fire Company
Poh’s Corner Pub
Brick Lot Pub & Grill
Brygga Plates & Pours @ Stone Harbor Resort
Red Room

Flanigan Distributing has an approved Street Closure Permit for this event, and police will be providing a rolling street closure to ensure safe travels for the Clydesdale Hitch Team. At each establishment stop, police will be stopping all traffic from using that street block during the delivery time.

We would remind all onlookers and motorists to use extra caution during this event, and do not approach the hitch team. Photos should be taken from a distance and from the downtown sidewalk areas. If you are looking for a close up view of the Clydesdales, please visit them at the Door County Fair, where they have a scheduled meet and great on Friday at 4:00pm.
