We had a snowstorm hit the area on Wednesday and Friday I was finally able to go out and get some shots of it. Here's a short video of some of the clips I got.

Had a snowstorm pass through the other day and took some time to go out and shoot some footage.

Got the opportunity to help present at the Hampton Roads Festival of Flight along with the PropBustas Multi GP racing group. I was mostly talking to a lot of different groups looking into getting into drones and doing the race demos so didn't get a chance to snap a lot of pictures but here are the two I liked the most.

Finally got out to do some filming this weekend and did a modified cablecam with the Mövi as we didn't have a slider. Worked out really well.

It's been a while since I've posted anything up but work and life in general tended to get a bit busy. I have been working the past few months getting the pieces together to shoot and direct my first short and they finally have come together. So next weekend I will step away from behind the camera to try my hand at directing and editing. The short I will be doing is of the primer podcast of the Hunt The Truth series, https://soundcloud.com/huntthetruth/episode-00-primer, it's an investigation into the backstory of Halo's Master Chief. It was a very well done podcast and after reaching out to the creator I have his ok to turn it into a short. I will be doing the Primer episode and depending on the response I will turn the entire podcast into a web series or full length video.
I said 2016 was going to be a good year and with the work I've been doing with Barocco and trying my hand directing it defiantly is turning into a good year.

The testing yesterday with my Rokinon 24MM turned out so well I decided to test out some longer lenses, my Rokinon 85 and Canon L70-200@200. The results are amazing. Processing the videos now to show the results.

Took some time to really tune the gimbal, now it is butter smooth, flight test to follow.
