I’ve always loved traveling with my kids, even when they were little. It was never easy, but it was always worth it.

Now that they’re getting older, I’m realizing how much simpler it feels. This trip has been such a good reminder that even in the middle of a fun, crazy adventure, it’s often the simple moments that end up meaning the most alhamdulilah!

And honestly, those moments don’t have to happen on an expensive overseas trip. They can happen right where you live. Sometimes it’s less about where you are and more about slowing down, being present, and choosing to enjoy the season you’re in.

Staying in one place for nine days, slowing down, and just spending time together has been one of my favorite parts of this trip. 🤍
