The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Storm Warning for parts of Natchitoches & Winn Parishes for a storm near Montgomery, LA. This storm was moving east at 15mph. This storm may produce winds up to 6o mph and heavry rain. .

POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAIN...Currently watching outflow boundaries collide in NE TExas and extreme NW Louisiana. Monitoring to see if heavy rain will become an issue. There are indications we could see heavy rain form and move east across part of the area along and north of I-20. If this happens, 2-3 inches of rain could be possible. We will continue to monitor and update. As the sun goes down, we should start to see a decrease in coverage.
