For generations we have never seen a Youth start their own media to tell their own stories through their eyes, today we founded this media network to get our own stories out to the people, many journalists travel to our homelands and take credit for the work they did on our homelands with our people. Our dream is to one day have a documentary out for people to see and watch, and also report on important issues regarding our sacred water and earth and all this through the eyes of Lakota Youth.

Mitakuyepi! We are hosting our school powwow this friday, september 20th. We are excited to share a day of dance and celebration with our community, crown our new royalty and have a few specials honoring dancers. We hope to see you there.

The Manderson Fire, which started on September 12th is 2,500 acres and has reached 20% containment. The Nevada Team 3 - Type 3 Incident Management Team took command of the fire this morning. Fire activity has moderated, with most of the activity currently being in the heavier fuels and timber stringers. Fire crews will continue to secure containment lines and mop up in needed areas. Hot, dry and windy weather conditions are expected for today, please be safe when spending time outdoors to avoid starting any new fires. Please remain clear of the fire area to allow firefighting resources to work safely in the area.
