Update to the previous post. Hamlin did say he will race 🏁 in 2026. Although I do expect that 2026 might be his final season in NASCAR. Hamlin has a contract through the 2027 season. After the 2027 season he will be 49 years old.

During media day for the NASCAR Awards Cermony for the Cup Series. Denny Hamlin has not committed to driving for the 2026 season. It's not known yet if Denny Hamlin calls it a career. If Hamlin calls it a career who do you think gets the 11?

Due to the Lawsuit filed by 23XI and Front Row Motorsports. The Charters agreement has been revealed. I got to say this is the worst charter agreement I've ever seen. NASCAR doesn't care about the teams all they care about is lining their pockets. It's absurd that NASCAR thinks this is manageable for race teams. NASCAR is stuck in the past and honestly it's going to come back to bite them.

Congratulations to the Bubba Wallace and his wife Amanda on the addition of a second child. Their second child is due in March of 2026.

Marcos Ambrose surivied Colrectral cancer. Marcos didn't give very much details. But he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer that was supposed to cost him his life. According to Jayski the two time Supercar Series Champion and 2 time Cup Series winner spent the last two years battling Colrectral cancer in a brave battle. Unfortunately his battle with Colrectral cancer ultimately led to him needing a liver transplant. He recently ticked over a year with his new liver and well past the initial prognosis of how long he was supposed to survive. That's not to say that the battle hasn't been won, However Ambrose is currently healthy, happy and committed to spreading the word about organ transplants. Something Ambrose owes his life too. The message at the Pirtek legends night where Ambrose went public for the first time about his battle with Cancer. According to Ambrose. "The cancer came very quickly and suddenly and very much unexpectedly". Said Ambrose recounting the discovery of the cancer in mid 2023.

Sheila Elliott the wife of legendary engineer Ernie Elliott has passed away at the age of 74. She passed away Tuesday at her residence in Dawsonville. The cause of her death is unknown

For the first time in NASCAR history. A team has swept the top 5. JR Motorsports qualified 1 2 3 4 5 . Zilisch won the pole, 2nd Justin Alliagier, 3rd Conor Mosack, 4th Sammy Smith and 5th Travis Kavpil. An amazing job JR Motorsports. Now the question is can Conor Zilisch get his 11th win of the season?
