I am a homeschooler, a small homesteader at heart who loves to bake bread, preserve food, raise chickens and grow a small backyard garden full of life and lessons. Through grief, healing and grace, I have

Fresh baked sourdough loaves turned into French bread pizza housing ALL OF THE LEFTOVERS I had in the fridge! 😆👍🏼 Leftover spaghetti from Monday night was turned into sauce for the pizza and noodles into Garlic Butter Noodles. Leftover ham and bacon from BLT's went on the pizza along with overflow of peppers from making pepper jelly. Lettuce from Sunday nights taco dinner became a salad and I threw in end scraps of lunch meat and taco cheese along with some slices of harvarti, finished a jar of yellow peppers and tossed in some veggies from the garden. Now my fridge is cleaned out and nothing went to waste!😆👍🏼

Monday Night Dinner Bell 🔔 Got my peppers pepper for Pepper Jelly tomorrow so I figured I would toss a few i to our spaghetti sauce tonight for dinner. Pepper Party Jelly, my spin on the Golden Pepper Jelly by NCHFP using the colorful peppers from my garden! Colorful blend of sweet bells mixed with some jalapeños and yellow hots with 2 baby serrano’s thrown in. 😅 wooooo she may be HOT but my boys LOVE my pepper jelly! I may add apricots if I can remember to soak them overnight. I just have to get them all chopped but right now, we are headed to cheerleading. So this will probably be a canning session for tomorrow. Maybe I will livestream it. ☺️
