The Agriculturist is a student publication of the Department of Agricultural Education and Communications at Texas Tech University. Each semester, students enrolled in ACOM 4310: Development of Agricultural Publications, produce the magazine from start to finish as part of their degree requirement. The magazine is a non-for-profit publication and is funded solely by advertisers and sponsors. This

page is meant to share the work of the class with our Department's alumni and the followers of the page. Any postings that are not relevant to the work of the course, the Agriculturalist magazine, the Department of Agricultural Education and Communications as determined the the course instructor or the administration of Texas Tech University will be deleted. Taylor McKinizie is a doctoral student studying live animal management in beef cattle at Texas Tech. McKinzie is also researching beef-on-dairy crosses and how they impact the beef industry. To learn more about this, look out for this years issue of the Agriculturist.
