In response to an assertion on this morning's show by Karen Johnson, Democratic candidate for Juvenile Court Clerk, that she was asked to run by Councilwoman at-large Megan Barry, Barry responds: She often advises those who reach out to her to get involved in the democratic process. However, Ms. Barry stressed to us that she did not recruit Ms. Johnson to run for the office of juvenile court clerk.

We'll be live 7-9am with conversation with 6 of 7 Democratic primary candidates for Juvenile Court Clerk: Jeff Brousal, Howard Jones, Vivian Wilhoite, Vic Lineweaver, Karen Johnson, and David Smith. Patricia Courts has exams today and wasn't able to join us.

Mission: To provide those persons utilizing the facilities of the Juvenile Justice Center with highest level of efficient and courteous service in a fiscally responsible manner to all citizens of Metropolitan Nashville.
