I was lined up at the start of the Paris Marathon and to my left was a group of 4 young men wearing these incredibly bright and amazing orange and yellow shirts. The front of the shirt read "Campaign Against Living Miserably". As I heard them talking, I noticed the UK accent. Being a fan of British comedy, I thought that maybe the 4 of them worked in a divorce attorney's office and were wearing a promotional shirt (no lie, that was my initial thought). I smiled. I wanted to buy one of them.

Then I saw the back of the shirt, where at the top of the collar it reads "United Against Su***de". When I saw that it was a mental health organization's shirt, I HAD to buy one.

Today, it arrived!!!!

Thank you and for what you do for mental health and for the quality garment.

Had this loooong list of people I was thinking about during today's run and I was going to share it and why I'd thought about them, but then I had a trail friend greet me so I had to stop and say hi.

Planned on an 8 mile run maintaining a sub-135 BPM HR the whole way.
All was going well, until the 3 mile mark and I got the weather warning on my phone.
Was .17 away from shelter. Barely made it to the overpass cover.
Once the hail stopped, radar indicated a 30 minute window to run 3 miles back to my car before round 2. Made it, with plenty of minutes to spare.
The car? Did not enjoy the run as much as I did.
