Did you know Snowdrop Foundation has only three employees?
Three.
Now, here’s the part that still blows my mind every single year…
The race directors? Volunteers.
The medical team? Volunteers.
The photographers? Volunteers.
The finish line personnel? Volunteers.
The announcers? Volunteers.
The people loading and unloading trucks, cleaning the porta-potties, picking up trash, serving donated food from our partner restaurant sponsors, cooking overnight, keeping runners safe, and somehow still smiling?
Yep. Volunteers.
This entire beautiful life-changing event exists because people choose to show up.
They don’t show up for medals or recognition.
They show up because they "feel it".
This race was Chelsey Campbell's dream. Why 55 hours matters. Why exhaustion is a privilege. Why community beats comfort every time.
Every step taken, every mile logged at ungodly hours carries her legacy forward and the hope of every child and family impacted by childhood cancer.
So when you see the Snowdrop ULTRA 55 in action, know this: What you’re witnessing isn’t an event run by an organization.
It’s a mission carried by selfless believers.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for believing.
Thank you for running, volunteering, cheering, and caring.
THIS IS SNOWDROP.
