The Avion is Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's weekly Student Produced newspaper for campus and Aerospace Industry News. If you are a student wishing to get involved or write a story, stop by our office in the Student Leadership Suite, room 219. Please submit stories by Friday at midnight to [email protected]
General meetings are every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in The Chamber, room 210 in the Stu

dent Union. If you're interested in joining The Avion, then coming to a general meeting is the first step. We will be glad to talk with you about the great things you can do on staff at The Avion. The Avion was founded by Linda Colgan in 1969.

Our Special Issue author spotlight is Gus Gatti, a junior in Aerospace Engineering. This article focusses on STEM Outreach, where Vice President Gus Gatti hopes to provide wider recognition to the benefits of STEM education across a wide range of grade levels. He hopes that future outreach events continue to inspire the next generation of students and provide valuable teaching experience to Embry-Riddle students.
