Some real in your scroll today:

There’s something powerful about slowing down just long enough to really see people.

Not just their titles… not their numbers… not their highlight reels.

But the human. The heart. 💓 The story.

We get so caught up chasing the next thing that we forget the most meaningful moments are often the ones that don’t get posted. The eye contact. The kind words. The pause to ask, “How are you really doing?”

I moved around a lot growing up… always the new kid, always starting over.
It wasn’t easy but it taught me something sacred: how to really see people. How to connect quickly and deeply, even in chaos.

“Survival became my superpower” 🦸🏻‍♀️

From answering phones in customer service to becoming a sales rep, store manager, and eventually a distribution partner I kept showing up, heart first.

Then came one of the hardest moments…I got fired while I was sick and pregnant with my youngest daughter.
It knocked the wind out of me… but it didn’t knock me out.

Because I had something that couldn’t be taken away by a corporation -real relationships.
I wasn’t starting from scratch I had a foundation built on connection & CARE.

That’s when I had my “ah-ha” moment:
Social media isn’t about algorithms or self promotion …it’s about alignment. It’s about people & conversations.

It’s about building something real, rooted in trust, and led by CARE.

Relationships ARE the currency of business. And when you lead with intention and heart? The results always follow.

That’s why I believe in Relationship Marketing—not as a strategy, but as a soul-centered way of being.

👏ProTip: Mirror the language your audience already uses. Speak with them, not at them. It’s a conversation not a presentation.

That is how deep rapport is built and kept. When you put relationships first….before revenue, before reach, before results and yet the impact becomes undeniable.
(And don’t worry… the results will come. Every single time. When it’s done right.) Because here’s the truth:

What if the ROI you need isn’t Return On Investment but Return On Intention?

Capture Attention by aligning your message with meaning. ☝️

The best content isn’t created, it’s felt 💗
Use personal touches to evoke more of the senses ie
Create a voice note vs a text
Send a video email vs a written one
Create a handwritten card vs sending swag or something anyone could make.
Write your content in a way that’s open-ended and invites reflection.
Use your own images and style vs stock photos.
The goal is to be memorable by noticing emotions and inviting reflection.
How would your content shift if your only goal was to serve?

Throwing it all the way back to 2011 .. and one of my very first speaking engagements at Social Media Week Lima. I was talking about what business would look like in 2020… looking back now, it’s wild how much of that message still rings true.

Even then, I knew the future of business wasn’t about being the loudest in the room. It was about being a magnet 🧲 vs a bullhorn 📢- it was about building real relationships and earning trust through customer experience. Reviews, reputation, and referrals were already becoming the new currency of marketing.

The businesses that thrive aren’t just checking boxes. They’re standing out by showing up with care, consistency, and connection in a sea of lookalikes.

It’s been a journey…and we’re just getting started. 🙌💗☺️

Spending time surrounded by some of the brightest minds in the industry always leaves me feeling inspired, energized, and full of new ideas. From strategy sessions and deep conversations to unexpected laughs and much-needed hugs — this event was everything I hoped it would be and more.

I’m so grateful for the chance to connect, share, and learn alongside such an amazing community of marketers, creators, and innovators. There’s nothing quite like being in a room full of people who get it — who are passionate about connection, creativity, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the digital space.

Here’s to taking all the knowledge and inspiration from and turning it into action! But the BEST parts of the event happen before the event (like and I’s pre-party, the hallways and bathroom selfies and even now after the event… putting ideas into ACTION!)
