$165 under body toolbox, $100 worth of aluminum angle and $30 worth of bed liner. After an afternoon in the shop building the support frame for the thin walled box, we have storage on the back door.
I still need to build some shelves inside and maybe a little rack on top, but for about $400 so far, I think it will do just fine.

With some threaded inserts from Amazon (manufacturer shipped some but they won't be here for a week) the AC is installed. Currently running a test at 92 degrees in full sun. Let's see how it does.

Well, it turns out the AC unit is missing some parts, so I moved on to knocking out some other projects on the van.
I added 300w of solar to the top and connected to the Victron solar charger I had installed in round one. So now even if we're sitting still with the AC on I should get some help charging the barreries.
I also added a back door panel. I'm figuring out some storage options back there since I had to remove the roof box to fit the AC. More to come on this. Stay tuned.

3 days and 2,300 Miles later we've made it to Utah. This is our home base for the next couple of nights then we're headed south and into Arizona for Expo.
